Quilt Kit - Boro Style Color Splash

Kallisti used Bella Nonna's Color Splash pattern to create a Japanese boro style quilt kit.  The quilt features 16 Japanese dobby and yarn dye fabrics in shades of blue and muddy purple, one bulk skein of muddy plum thread, pattern plus tips to add boro style features.  This quilt measures approximately 34" x 42," which is appropriate for a wall hanging or lap quilt.

In addition to the items included in this kit, you make want to consider purchasing a small skein of thin off-white sashiko thread for decorative stitching, the dragonfly (or other) stencil, as well as any of the coordinating dobby and yarn dyes for your backing.  Any of these backings will peek-a-boos nicely through the quilt top after it has been ripped and washed.
