Sashiko Needles & Thimbles

Your choice of needles is personal.  If you come from a quilting background, you may want to start with a "short" Sashiko needle, at least one of which is included in each multipack.  Over time, especially if your Sashiko projects involve straight stitching, you may become more comfortable with longer needles. 

Thimbles are worn at the bottom of your middle finger against your palm and require practice.  Both leather and metal palm thimbles are available, but they are optional.
