Gems by Designs by jb

This popular pattern was designed by Janine Burke of Designs by jb. It features a rectangle off-centred in a small square block.  This design works very well for almost collection of fabric: print or solid, dramatic or subtle, high or low contrast, large or small scale fabrics.  The pattern makes a throw quilt measuring 54" x 66," but you can easily adjust the size by making a different number of blocks.  It makes a terrific baby quilt or you can bust through your stash and make a bed quilt!
