Sold Quilt - Hexcentric
This quilt features approximately many vibrant cotton prints imported from Senegal. Prints feature traditional Adinkra tribal and other African motifs in rich burgundy, red, orange and yellow with gold metallic accents. This pattern called Hexcentric was designed by Johanna Masko - it is available for purchase - and my store sample was being sold with permission. The machine quilting in a whirly free motion design in a coordinating thread can be seen in the close up photo. There is also an applique of two women in the bottom right corner. The quilt measures 36" x 47" and is appropriate for small throw or large wall hanging. There is a flat sleeve across the back of the quilt for easy hanging.
