Sold Quilt - Hexcentric

This quilt features gorgeous quilting and textured dobby prints imported from Japan. All fabrics are 100% superior quality cotton. Prints include traditional motifs including chrysanthemums, cherry blossoms and dragonflies as well sashiko, shibori and boro style designs. Main colours are dark shades of navy, rust and brown. The backing fabric is a navy blue striped rabbit print. The simple yet highly effective quilt pattern called Hexcentric was created by Toronto designer Johanna Masko to showcase large scale prints - it is available for purchase - and my retired shop sample quilt was sold with permission. Details of the professional machine quilting in a linear petal design can be seen in the closeup photo.  The quilt measures approximately 56" x 78" and is appropriate for a large throw.
