Quilt Kit - Boro Style Color Splash
Kallisti is using Bella Nonna's Color Splash pattern to create a Japanese boro style quilt kit. The quilt features 16 Japanese dobby and yarn dye fabrics in medium neutrals and shades of deep blue, one bulk skein of deep blue sashiko thread, pattern plus tips to add boro style features. This quilt measures approximately 34" x 42," which is appropriate for a wall hanging or lap quilt, although the kit fabric allows you to make a slightly larger quilt.

In addition to the items included in this kit, you make want to consider purchasing a small skein of thin off-white sashiko thread for decorative stitching, as well as any of the yarn dyes or the deep blue Hemp Leaf dobby print for your backing. Any of these backings will peek-a-boos nicely through the quilt top after it has been ripped and washed.
