Quilt Kit - Boro Style Color Splash in blue

Kallisti used Bella Nonna's Color Splash pattern to create a Japanese Boro style quilt kit.  The quilt features 16 Japanese quilting print, dobby and yarn dye fabrics in shades of medium to dark blue and beige, one bulk skein of medium blue Sashiko thread, pattern plus tips to add Boro style features.  This quilt measures approximately 34" x 42," which is appropriate for a wall hanging or lap quilt.

In addition to the items included in this kit, you make want to consider purchasing a small skein of thin off-white Sashiko thread for decorative stitching, the dragonfly (or other) stencil, as well as any of the blue or beige dobby or yarn dyes for your backing.  Any of these backings will peek-a-boos nicely through the quilt top after it has been ripped and washed.
