Quilt for Sale - Queen Churn Dash

This quilt features high end imported Japanese textured cotton fabrics in shades of navy, dark cadet blue and rich plum with cream and beige accents.  The design is a traditional pattern called Churn Dash with a modern uneven setting.  Prints include traditional Japanese motifs, such as dragonflies, origami cranes, cherry blossoms, along with some traditional Sashiko designs.  The quilt measures approximately 94" wide by 110" long.  It will fit a Queen size bed with a 17" drop or a Double size bed with a 20" drop.  Turned sideways, this quilt will also fit a King size bed with a foot board, allowing for a 15" drop.  Details of the machine quilting can be seen in the closeup photo.  Quilting designs are a combination of straight line and free motion work in three coordinating thread colors.  The backing is the small plum and beige yarn dyed plaid seen in the patchwork and outer border.
