Sashiko Panels
Sashiko is an ancient Japanese stitching technique meaning "little stabs" that was originally used to repair clothing and blankets, but it has since evolved into a beautiful art form. Imported from various Japanese manufacturers, these dark blue, light weight cotton panels measure 14" wide x 28" long. Half of each panel has a preprinted design for you to stitch, while the other half is plain and can be used for the back of a pillow, other side of a tote bag or alternating blocks in a sashiko quilt. You will need approximately 15 to 20 metres of thread to complete one panel. Click on an individual item photo to order!
