Quilt for Sale - Japanese Rail Fence

This is a variation of the traditional Rail Fence with different widths of strips.  It features dozens of gorgeous textured yarn dyed fabrics imported from Japan.  Colours are shades of blue, teal, green and brown with dark mustard accents.  This quilt has not yet been washed, but will withstand frequent machine laundering.  This process will achieve the rumpled, antique look that makes these fabrics so popular after only one wash and tumble dry.  The machine quilting in a coordinating thread is a wavy zigzag design that accentuates the strip piecing and includes one or two leaves in the widest strips for added visual interest.  This quilt measures approximately 49" x 59" and is appropriate for a throw.
