This quilt features gorgeous plush yarn dyed fabrics from Japan. Colours are shades of green, aqua and blue. The pattern called Carson's Courtyard was designed by Christine Baker of Fairfield Road Designs and Upper Canada Quiltworks - it is available for purchase - and my store sample is being sold with permission. This quilt measures 43" x 55" and is appropriate for a lap quilt. The machine quilting in a coordinating variegated cotton thread can be seen in the close up photo. The backing is a large beige and blue check with a strip of a tiny aqua grid, same as the binding, along one edge.
