Quilt Kit - Gems

Kallisti's solid version of Gems features peach, tan and mauve from the very popular linen collection and sold out at Quilt Canada last June!  The fabrics have all been restocked - with more on the way - so the kit is now available again.  This project is hand stitched with Sashiko thread and does not require batting, which both eases stitching resistance and gives the finished quilt a beautiful drape.  The pattern was designed by Designs by jb and it is available for purchase separately.  The quilt measures approximately 47" x 69," which is appropriate for a throw.  Kit includes 12 fat quarters, one bulk skein of thin peach Sashiko thread for hand quilting, pattern plus quarter circle quilting template sheet.

Please note that binding fabric is not included because the backing fabric was rolled onto the front and hand stitched in place.  If you want to purchase backing/binding fabric, you will need 2.75 metres (11 units) of any coordinating colour of the fine weight linen. 

If you want to machine quilt this project, please purchase backing and binding separately and your Sashiko thread will be refunded.  You will need 2.75 metres (11 units) of any weight for backing and 0.5 metres (2 units) of fine weight for binding.
