Sashiko Yardage
Sashiko is an ancient Japanese stitching technique meaning "little stabs" that was originally used to repair clothing, but it has since evolved into a beautiful art form. Imported from Olympus of Japan, these sashiko fabrics are available by the metre. Although they are from the same manufacturer as the sashiko panels, this fabric is thicker and coarser. You will need approximately 40 metres of thread to complete one quarter metre. Click on an individual swatch photo to order!
