Sashiko Fabric - Asanoha (Hemp Leaf) panel number 0006

This very popular preprinted Japanese sashiko fabric features one of the best known designs, the hemp leaf, an ancient pattern symbolizing radiating light and good health. Stitch on stamped lines with sashiko thread, embroidery floss or pearl cotton.  Stamped lines dissolve in water. Panels are 100% pure white cotton and measure 14" x 28" each. Stamped design is 14" square, covering half of the panel, and a plain square, which can be used as the back of a pillow or bag, makes up the other half.
